At MOSAICCOS, near the Picasso Museum, you’ll learn Gaudí’s Trencadís technique and make a photo frame, box, animal, or other mosaic piece. Melissa and the studio team guide you through the hands-on work. Allow extra time for detailed designs and collect your grouted artwork later.

At Mosaiccos in Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella, you’ll learn Gaudí’s trencadís technique in a two-hour, English-language workshop. Choose a frame, box, animal, or other shape, arrange colorful ceramic pieces, and get help from instructors such as Anna, Kishore, or Maria. Your finished piece is grouted for pickup later.

At Mosaiccos in Barcelona’s old city, a child-friendly guide introduces you to Gaudí’s trencadís mosaic style. Choose a frame, box, or another project, select your colors, and build a keepsake with supplied materials. Melissa and Anna are among the helpful instructors, and finished pieces are collected later after drying.

At Mosaiccos in Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella, families of two to four create a Gaudí-style trencadís mosaic in a two-hour class. Children choose from designs such as fish, cats, hearts, and butterflies, with ceramic tiles for older children and safer pre-cut acrylic pieces for younger ones.
“Offered a choice of picture frames, gecko, fish or coaster to mosaic. The studio grouts your piece to pick up a few hours later. We arrived late for our class, but were allowed extra time to complete our projects, which was appreciated (recommend 2hours). It’s a fun way to connect with the city.”
Walk from Casa Milà through Passeig de Gràcia and El Born while learning about Gaudí and Barcelona’s Modernisme. Then spend an hour making your own trencadís souvenir at Mosaiccos. Christian and Angelika lead the experience in English, with groups capped at 15.
“We would recommend this fabulous and interesting tour. We went with children aged 9-11. We all found Christian was engaging and knowledgable, with lots of good anecdotes. Because of the small group, there was plenty of time to ask questions. We all enjoyed the mosaic workshop - time for a little mosaic on a fridge magnet or box.”
Join Tirma for a relaxed, small-group photo walk through El Gòtic and El Born. Use your smartphone to frame the Gothic Cathedral, Pont del Bisbe, Sant Felip Neri, Plaça del Rei, and Mercat del Born, then print a favorite image as a personal postcard.

At Mosaiccos in Barcelona’s Ciutat Vella, an English-speaking instructor guides you through turning Tiffany broken glass into a necklace, ring, pendant, or earrings. The two-hour workshop starts at 4:30 pm, welcomes beginners over 14, and includes every material, so you leave with a handmade souvenir.
